EMAS – Accelerates Pani gold mine expansion Merdeka Gold Resources (EMAS) reported strong operational progress at the Pani Gold Mine in Pohuwato, Gorontalo. Following first gold production on 14 Feb ‘26, gold output increased significantly to 15,594 ounces in 2Q26 from 1,818 ounces in 1Q26 as heap leach operations continued to ramp up. The heap leach facility, currently operating through Cells 1 and 2, will undergo embankment expansion through late ‘26 and Cell 3 construction in ‘27, eventually reaching total capacity of ~62 mn tons of ore. Meanwhile, EMAS is advancing the construction of its 12 Mtpa Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) processing plant, which is expandable up to 24 Mtpa. Land preparation is progressing, with first concrete pouring targeted for early 4Q26. Supporting infrastructure, including tailings facilities and additional PLN power supply agreements, is also being developed. President Director Boyke P.
