Yayasan Tunas Muda Cendekia

Since it was first established in 2009 to channel Valbury Group's corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities for the Indonesian people, Tunas Muda Cendekia Foundation (YTMC) has continuously held various programs and activities that support the education sector.

These programs include scholarship programs for  hundreds of underprivileged high performance university students, as well as training and seminar programs for university students on the financial services industry. All of this from Valbury Group, in order to support the development and empowerment the Indonesian people to become more prosperous.

From its inception, Tunas Muda Cendekia Foundation (YTMC) has consistently provided scholarships to outstanding students in various universities and colleges throughout Indonesia to form disciplined, independent and insightful human beings.

As of 2015, Tunas Muda Cendekia Foundation has provided scholarships to 389 students throughout Indonesia with a value of more than Rp3.2 billion.

Main selection criteria:
  • Applicants must have a minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.00
  • Come from an underprivileged family
Candidates must also fulfill several other administrative requirements. For candidates who successfully qualify for the scholarships, YTMC will continue to monitor their performance every semester. Should their GPA drop below 3.00, students may lose their YTMC scholarship.

In this way we ensure that these scholarships truly produce a high-performance generation able to contribute to the nation.

Campus to Campus Program

In addition to providing educational assistance in the form of scholarships for underprivileged students, YTCM also has another program called the Campus to Campus program. Organized by Valbury Group through YTMC, this education and training program brings in financial services professionals to conduct financial literacy workshops and seminars for university students.

Under the Campus to Campus program, training programs and workshops are held 4-6 times a year that generally focuses on financial and economic topics. These sessions feature experienced professionals who have direct experience and expertise field of financial services, who can share their experiences with students. Through this program, scholarship recipients are also given the opportunity to share their experiences with other students.
