MIKA – Opens a new hospital in Bekasi Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat (MIKA) has opened a new hospital - Mitra Keluarga Grand Wisata in Bekasi, on November 25, 2023. Previously, MIKA targets to open 3 new hospitals this year. 2 new hospitals already operates since last January located in Pamulang and Slawi. The capacity of the hospital in Bekasi is approximately 200 beds, but at this opening stage it is still only operating around 60 beds. Next year, MIKA plans to open a new hospital with a capacity of 100-200 beds which is still in the planning stage. MIKA posted a revenue of IDR3.15 tn (+2.7% yoy) but net profit decreased by 7.8% yoy to IDR686.1 bn, in 9M23. The decline in net profit was driven by margin normalization related to Covid-19. Revenue from the pharmaceuticals segment was still the largest contributor to MIKA's revenue in 9M23. While medical support contributed 25%, inpatient accommodation contributed 13% and operating rooms and others contributed 19% to 9M23's total revenue.
