BBRI - KUR distribution reaches IDR76.43 tn until May24 Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) has distributed KUR amounting to IDR76.43 tn until May 2024. BRI Micro Business Director Supari said the credit value was equivalent to 46.33% of the total BRI KUR distribution quota for 2024, which was IDR165 tn. In line with this, the credit quality of KUR BRI is also relatively well maintained, with an NPL ratio in the range of 2%. In the first six months of the second half of 2024, BRI will continue to strive to maintain the quality of the KUR distributed. "BBRI efforts include channeling credit using selective growth, encouraging an increase in the recovery rate, and carrying out strict loan monitoring, both online and offline," said Supari. Regarding the government's plan to extend the relaxation of credit restructuring affected by COVID, Supari said that BRI will comply with whatever decisions are made by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). In the future, BRI hopes that there will be strengthening policies that can strengthen people's purchasing power and increase household consumption, because these two factors are the main drivers of credit growth for MSMEs, which are the main contributors and the backbone of the Indonesian economy amidst challenging macroeconomic conditions.
