MDKA – Around IDR932.58 bn loan to subsidiary

MDKA – Around IDR932.58 bn loan to subsidiary Merdeka Copper Gold (MDKA) received net proceeds (after expenses) around IDR2.08 tn from its bond issuance; Series A (IDR800.98 bn par value, a 7.75% interest rate, and maturing on December 22, 2024), and Series B (IDR1.29 tn par value, 9.5% interest rate, and a maturity date of December 15, 2026). Moreover, MDKA has loaned around IDR932.58 bn or 44.8% of total net proceeds to its subsidiary, Bumi Suksesindo, which the subsidiary will use it for settling its principal debt, while the remaining 55.2% (IDR1.14 tn), MDKA will use it for other financial obligations. Notably, Boy Thohir holds around 1.79 bn shares of MDKA (7.45% ownership), and Saratoga Investama Sedaya (SRTG) holds 4.53 bn shares (18.79% ownership) of MDKA, as of December 31, 2023.
