PTBA – IDR8.84 bn worth of exploration activities in 1Q24

PTBA – IDR8.84 bn worth of exploration activities in 1Q24 Bukit Asam (PTBA) explained that exploration activities in the Tanjung Enim mining unit worth IDR8.84 bn in 1Q24 was include geological mapping, core and non-core drilling, geophysical logging, coal and rock sampling as well as TOC and BOC monitoring. The activity was carried out at 3 IUP, namely Muara Tiga Besar, Banko Tengah A and Banko Tengah B, in 65 points with a total depth of 7,071 meters. The drilling aims to support operations and production activities by closing the distance between drill points and expanding the exploration coverage area. Other exploration activities such as coal and rock sampling at exploration drill points and coal samples in active pits for QC were realized as many as 881 samples and TOC-BOC measurement monitoring activities were realized as much as 282.3 ha. There have been no exploration activities at the Ombilin mining unit in 1Q24, but it is planned to start the exploration activities in 3Q24. (Source: Investor Daily)
