PTBA - Targets a 30% revenue contribution from EBT by 2030 Bukit Asam (PTBA) targets the revenue contribution from its new and renewable energy (EBT) business to reach 30% in 2030 due to the further diversification of its business from coal mining to EBT business. Currently, most of the EBT business carried out by PTBA, are in the form of solar power plants, some of which are developed on its former mining land, that includes its post-mining land Ombilin (West Sumatra), Tanjung Enim (South Sumatra) and Bantuas (East Kalimantan). The potential of solar power generation in these lands could reach 200 MWp. PTBA is also exploring the solar energy business with other parties, such as Angkasa Pura II for the solar power plant at Soekarno Hatta Airport, which has operated since October 2020 and has the maximum capacity of 241 kWp. Another example is a solar power plant on a toll road, which is in collaboration with Jasa Marga (JSMR), one of which has a capacity of 400 kWp on the Bali-Mandara toll road and has operated since September 2022. Currently, PTBA is in the process of exploring hydrogen-based business for corporate needs and also for a potential strategic partnership in PTBA's transportation and production business chain system. At the same time, PTBA also collaborates with the National Research Agency (BRIN) and various universities to conduct research. (Source: Kontan)
