12 November 2024

CPIN – Projected performance due to ASP increase Charoen Pokphand Indonesia (CPIN) posted a margin recovery through an increase in chicken ASP. However, CPIN must also be aware of the risk of the rainy season which is likely to increase corn prices. Note that, CPIN posted revenue of IDR49.71 tn (+5.49% yoy) and net profit of IDR2.38 tn (-11.3% yoy) in 9M24. The decrease in net profit was due to an increase in operating costs and exchange rate losses which increased by 77% yoy. (Source : Kontan)
