KLBF – Inaugurated a radioisotop plant

KLBF – Inaugurated a radioisotop plant Kalbe Farma (KLBF) through its subsidiary, Global Onkolab Farma, inaugurated the development of radioisotope plant, especially Fluorodeoxyglucose (FGD), for early detection of cancer. FGD is required to support Positron Emission Tomography and Computed Tomography Scanning examination services for advanced medical examinations that provide detailed information about the function of organs or systems in the body. KLBF targets the plant to start in November or December 2024, after obtaining permission from BPOM, BAPETEN and the Ministry of Health. (Source : Investor Daily)
