MTEL – Added 2,596 new towers in 2023

MTEL – Added 2,596 new towers in 2023 Dayamitra Telekomunikasi (MTEL) has added 2,596 towers and fiber optics by building new towers and making acquisitions in 2023. Currently, MTEL has 38,014 towers and mostly of the towers (22,237 towers) are located outside Java. MTEL is also in the process of developing a fiber portfolio to meet the needs of mobile operators in low-latency networks. MTEL has extended its fiber optic coverage by 15,880 km and reached 32,521 km (+95.4% yoy) by the end of 2023. Note that, MTEL posted revenue of IDR8.59 tn (+11.19% yoy) and net profit of IDR2.01 tn (+12.61% yoy) in 2023. (Source : Kontan)
