PGEO – Secured tariff agreement for 15 MW Lahendong expansion

PGEO – Secured tariff agreement for 15 MW Lahendong expansion Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGEO) and Indonesia Power have finalized an tariff agreement for the 15 MW Lahendong Bottoming Unit project. This project utilizes binary cycle technology to convert waste heat from existing geothermal operations into power, significantly enhancing resource efficiency. With the agreement in place, the partnership will proceed to form a joint venture and initiate the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) phase. The project targets COD in 2028 and is part of a broader strategic synergy between the two SoE affiliates to develop 530 MW of geothermal capacity across 19 existing sites. (Source : Kontan)
