BBNI - Becomes more aggressive in promoting green financing Bank Negara Indonesia (BBNI) continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the energy transition agenda in Indonesia. As of May 2025, the company's green financing portfolio was recorded at IDR13.37 tn, or equivalent to 18.19% of BNI's total green credit portfolio. This figure has grown by 2.9% ytd. BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo revealed that the growth of green financing was driven by BNI's expansion into clean energy projects, such as solar power plants, wind power, hydropower, and biogas. As part of BNI's sustainable strategy to manage exposure to high carbon intensity sectors, we continue to reduce the proportion of financing for the oil and gas and coal sectors. Conversely, we are continuously increasing financing for the renewable energy sector," said Okki in his written statement.
