BREN – Completed IDR1.6 tn acquisition of sidrap wind power plant

BREN – Completed IDR1.6 tn acquisition of sidrap wind power plant Barito Renewables Energy through its subsidiary, Barito Wind Energy, completed the acquisition of UPC Sidrap Bayu Energi 99.99% shares from UPC Renewables Asia Pacific Holding, ACEN Renewables International, UPC Renewables Asia III Limited, Sidrap (HK) Limited and Sunedison Sidrap BV with an investment value of IDR1.6 tn. The acquisition marking BREN's step to expand into the wind energy sector. Note that, Sidrap is the first wind power plant in Indonesia with a capacity of 75 MW. BREN also completed the acquisition of 3 late-stage wind development assets with a combined capacity of 320 MW located in South Sulawesi, Sukabumi and Lombok.
