TLKM - Subsidiary forges partnership with Cisco

A subsidiary of Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLKM), Telkom Data Ekosistem has forged a partnership with Cisco pertaining to internet of things (IOT) development. With this partnership, TDE will provide IOT control center for Cisco Platform Mobile IOT. It will also cover further develop TLKM's data center infrastructure, as well as 5G adoption acceleration in Indonesia and ASEAN. (Source : Telko.id) Comment: This newly forged partnership is consistent with TLKM’s aspiration to expand its business into digital ecosystem and a one step forward move to tap into IOT market. While IOT use is still in infant stage in Indonesia, the outlook is expected to be looking bright in line with growing demand for digitalization especially on smart energy, smart building and smart city as well as consumer electronics. All in all, we are still optimistic with TLKM’s plan to further leverage its competitive edge in telco and digital infrastructure.
