BREN — A USD346 mn investment to improve efficiency Barito Renewables Energy (BREN), through its subsidiary Star Energy Geothermal, plans to expand its geothermal power plants by adding 102.6 MW of installed capacity. The expansion has an estimated investment of USD346 mn and involves new capacity for the Salak and Wayang Windu plants and retrofitting existing units to improve efficiency. This initiative supports Indonesia’s net zero emission goals while enhancing BREN’s operational performance.
