BRMS – Copper mine project in Gorontalo

BRMS – Copper mine project in Gorontalo Bumi Resources Minerals (BRMS) through its subsidiary, Gorontalo Minerals, is working on a copper mining project in Gorontalo, Sulawesi. Currently, the number of existing mineral resources is around 400 mn tons of ore and reserves of 105 mn tons of ore. Furthermore, the average copper content is around 0.5-0.7%. BRMS is also conducting further exploration, including a drilling program to find new prospects in the mining site area. Previously, IMA revealed that there are 2-3 large copper mines that will operate in the next 5 years. The potential addition of 2-3 new copper mines are in the Tujuh Bukit area in Banyuwangi, Sumbawa in East Sumbawa and Sulawesi owned by Gorontalo Minerals.
