BYAN – The acquisition of a palm oil company

BYAN – The acquisition of a palm oil company Bayan Resources (BYAN) and its subsidiary, Bayan Energy, acquired 100% of Enggang Alam Sawita shares with a transaction value of IDR105.15 bn on August 30, 2024. Enggang Alam Sawita is a company engaged in plantations and owns land located in and next to the mining concessions of several BYAN subsidiaries. The transaction aims to smooth the operational activities with ownership of mining concession areas and plantation land. BYAN also provided a IDR159.27 bn loan to Enggang Alam Sawita.
