CNMA - F&B sales continue to increase

CNMA - F&B sales continue to increase Along with the increase in movie viewers at 36.9 mn viewers (+22.3% yoy), Nusantara Sejahtera Raya's (CNMA) F&B sales increased by 40.50% at IDR948.2 bn in 1H23. This increase resulted in a gross box office (GBO) of IDR1.6 tn in 1H23. The percentage of F&B product sales compared to GBO jumped from 47.9% to 58.5% in 1H23. There are many F&B product innovations released, such as popcorn milo dinosaurs, dark choco peanut bread, sesame Korean chicken, rawon fried rice, iced avocado latte, avoccino and go matcha. This year, CNMA plans to open a total of 80 new screens across Indonesia and 140 new screens next year. CNMA has used USD20 mn or around 50% of its total 2023 capex (USD40 mn) for expansions. Note that, CNMA' revenue reached IDR2.4 tn (+22% yoy) and net profit reached IDR215.1 bn in 1H23. (Source : Kontan)
