CNMA – Opened the first cinema in Bontang The opening of Nusantara Sejahtera Raya (CNMA) cinema took place at Citimall Bontang, East Kalimantan. The opening of the cinema is in line with CNMA's commitment to open around 80 new screens by the end of 2023 and 140 new screens by the end of 2024. Previously, people of Bontang have to travel a distance of 120 km to Samarinda, East Kalimantan to enjoy movies in theaters so that the presence of Bontang cinema is expected to be one of the favorite entertainment alternatives. The opening of this cinema was also driven by public enthusiasm to return to watching films in theaters after the COVID-19 pandemic. (Source : Kontan)
