CPIN – To benefit from the new government's nutritious meal program

CPIN – To benefit from the new government's nutritious meal program Charoen Pokphan Indonesia (CPIN) expects to continue its positive performance on the back of the new government' free nutritious meal program. Moreover, the new government will continue to push the country to be a self sufficient country, in terms of raw materials such as corn and to reduce dependency on imported Soybean Meal (SBM) from US and Argentina. At the same time, CPIN also benefited from higher broilers' and DOC' prices due to the continuation of government' culling program. In 1H24, CPIN' revenue and earnings reached IDR32.96 tn (+6.70% yoy) and IDR1.76 tn, respectively with a 5.4% net profit margin. (Source : Kontan)
