ICBP – Clarification on Indomie Soto Banjar ban in Taiwan Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur (ICBP) clarified that all instant noodle products produced in Indonesia, including Indomie Soto Banjar Limau Kulit, are processed in accordance with food safety standards set by BPOM. Food safety requirements, regulations, and provisions in export destination countries may differ from those in Indonesia. However, ICBP always ensures compliance with the rules of each export destination country. On the other hand, ICBP stated that the Indomie Soto Banjar Limau Kulit product was imported by an importer who is not an official distributor, as the product is neither marketed nor exported to Taiwan. Currently, ICBP is coordinating with BPOM and the Taiwanese authorities to follow up and monitor the development of this matter. (Source : Investor Daily)
