INCO – Source of energy for downstream activities
INCO – Source of energy for downstream activities Vale Indonesia (INCO) utilizes renewable energy sources through the Larona hydropower plant with a capacity of 165 MW, the Balambono hydropower plant with a capacity of 110 MW and the Karebbe hydropower plant with a capacity of 90 MW. In total, the hydropower plant has a capacity of 365 MW. Medio 2024 is also a new era for Sulawesi's nickel green downstream due to the operation of SUTET 275 KV which connects clean strum from Poso to Morowali and Konawe. Now, there is a Gorontalo-Parigi electricity network that will deliver clean stun from North Sulawesi's geothermal and hydro energy to Central Sulawesi. The renewable energy stun will support INCO's downstream in the Sorowako block, Bahodopi block and Pomalaa block, which are under construction. (Source: Bisnis Indonesia)
