MAPI – Limited expansion to maintain performance Mitra Adiperkasa (MAPI) has allocated IDR2 tn in capex for limited expansion this year, including plans to add new Starbucks outlets through its subsidiary, MAP Boga Adiperkasa (MAPB). MAPB is targeting the opening of 40 new outlets this year, expanding into new areas such as Lombok and Batam. So far, MAPB has opened 11 new Starbucks outlets, but it has also closed 16 unprofitable ones. On another note, MAPI recently acquired GS Supermarket through its subsidiary, Foodhall Indonesia, in June 2025. As of June 1, 2025, the 10 GS Supermarket stores in Indonesia have officially been rebranded as Daily Supermarket.
