PTBA – Strengthening the coal transportation segment to maintain performance Bukit Asam (PTBA) is optimistic about posting positive performance by strengthening the coal transportation segment. PTBA has carried out a groundbreaking of a coal handling facility to increase coal transportation capacity to 20 mn tons per year in the Tanjung Enim-Keramasan route on December 30, 2023. PTBA also continues to strive to meet the DMO needs, which has reached 11.57 mn tons (+12% yoy) in 1H24. Note that, PTBA posted revenue of IDR19.64 tn (+4.19% yoy) and net profit of IDR2.03 tn (-26.71% yoy) in 1H24. (Source : Kontan)
