BREN – Acquisition of PLTB Sidrab

BREN – Acquisition of PLTB Sidrab Barito Renewables Energy (BREN), via Barito Wind Energy, one of its subsidiaries, has reached a preliminary agreement to acquire 100% shares of UPC Sidrap Bayu Energy (PLTB Sidrap) from UPC Renewables Asia Pacific Holdings and ACEN Renewables International. PLTB Sidrap, a major wind power plant in South Sulawesi with a capacity of 75 MW, awaits PLN' approval for the undisclosed transaction, and expects to conclude it in 1Q24. This acquisition could boost BREN's total installed capacity by 8.5% to 961 MW.
