BREN - Expanding geothermal capacity Barito Renewables Energy (BREN) is expanding its geothermal capacity through the Salak Binary project, targeting completion by the end of 2023. The initiative, led by STAR Energy Group Holdings, aims to add 15 megawatts of capacity, achieving 95.26% progress with mechanical completion. BREN also plans retrofit projects to enhance existing operational units, including a 7.2 MW capacity increase in the Salak field by late 2025.
