MIKA – To open one more hospital in 3Q25
MIKA – To open one more hospital in 3Q25 Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat (MIKA) is developing two new hospitals in Cirebon and Sidoarjo. As of 1H25, the projects have absorbed capex of IDR359 bn, comprising IDR146 bn for medical equipment, IDR99 bn for building construction, and IDR75 bn for ongoing works. Over the past five years, MIKA has added around six new hospitals as part of its expansion strategy. The Sidoarjo hospital has reached 93% completion and is targeted to be operational by 3Q25, while the Cirebon hospital began operations on June 26, 2025, under Kasih Group. The Cirebon hospital, with a 100-bed capacity, is expected to support revenue from BPJS Kesehatan patients, as MIKA’s BPJS exposure has declined this year due to tighter referral requirements. Currently, 19 out of MIKA’s 31 hospitals are designated to serve BPJS Kesehatan patients. The company remains optimistic about implementing the standardized inpatient class policy for BPJS Kesehatan patients. Note that, MIKA booked revenue of IDR2.56 tn (+4.52% yoy) and net profit of IDR639.72 bn (+6.52% yoy) in 1H25. (Source : Bisnis Indonesia)
