PGEO — Aggressive expansion plan supported by green bond funding

PGEO — Aggressive expansion plan supported by green bond funding Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGEO) has outlined an aggressive expansion plan aiming to increase its capacity to 1.0 gigawatt (GW) by 2026 and 1.6 GW by 2032, up from the current 673 megawatts (MW). This growth strategy includes acquiring a 175 MW geothermal power plant by 2025 and completing the 55 MW Lumut Balai Unit 2 by 2024. PGEO has also made efforts to secure low-cost funding, for instance, they have issued green bonds in Singapore, securing competitive interest rates of 5.15%. (Source : Kontan)
