Telco - NeutraDC & BDx inks partnership A subsidiary of Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLKM), NeutraDC that operates data center and digital infrastructure has inked partnership deal with a data center JV of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (ISAT), BDx Data center and Lintasarta. The collaboration is aimed at strengthening ecosystems and technical assistance of both entities, namely Ecosystem IX, in order to boost collocation capacity, focusing on joint operation of tier 3 carrier- neutral data centers. (Source: Companies, Kontan) Comment: Collaboration is the key to strengthen digital capabilities as well as to improve competitiveness for both entities. The two companies have strong market share in domestic data center, and both operating hyperscalers in Cikarang, Batam, Jakarta and West Java, which should benefit for both especially in terms of efficiency and service improvement for clients. Due to low penetration, we expect data center business to have exponential growth with in the country in-line with growing size of digital economy.
