TLKM - Gears up for Satellite roll out Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLKM) is gearing up for a roll out of high throughput satellite (HTS) that is scheduled in February'24, aimed at covering disadvantageous areas. The satellite, which will be under operation of TelkomSat, is set to be the first broadband satellite. Meanwhile, the company has operated a total capacity of 250Gbps in its satellite portfolio. Currently, Telkomsat has operated three satellites covering over 720K customers, including Merah Putih, Telkom 3S, and MySat, while gearing up for two more satellites including Telkomsat-1 and Telkomsat-1 both will be placed in the east side of longitude.
