UNVR - Cuts workforce amid profit decline and business transformation Unilever Indonesia (UNVR) has reduced its workforce to 4,068 employees in 1H25, down 22.09% from 2020, as it undergoes business transformation amid weaker performance and consumer boycotts linked to the Israel–Palestine conflict. The sharpest cut occurred in 2024, when the number of staff fell 7.03% yoy following a 9.01% drop in sales to IDR35.13 tn and a 30% decline in net profit to IDR3.36 tn. In 1H25, revenue and net profit further slipped to IDR18.20 tn and IDR2.15 tn, respectively.
