ANTM – Higher nickel production and sales in 2023 Aneka Tambang' (ANTM) nickel production reached 13.44 mn WMT (+55.90% yoy) and nickel sales reached 11.71 mn WMT (+67.18% yoy), driven by higher demand from domestic market in 2023. Nickel exploration was carried out in North Konawe and Pomalaa, Central Sulawesi and in Tanjung Buli, North Maluku. For bauxite, ANTM produced 2.01 mn MWT (+21.9% yoy) which is used for chemical grade alumina (CGA) smelters in Tayan and sales to third parties. Alumina production and sales also rose to 160,940 tons (+6% yoy) and 143,900 tons (+2% yoy), respectively. However, gold production reportedly decreased to 1,208 kg (-4.73% yoy) despite successfully achieving 2023' target of 1,167 kg.
